The God who created the heavens and the earth and all who dwell upon it came in the cool of the day to talk with Adam in the garden of Eden . Think about it, the God of the universe wanting to talk with mere man . How wonderful , it was God who came, not man that went for the meeting. In old Testament days God made his presence known to the children of Israel in the tabernacle and gave them Priests to carry their needs to God. In the new covenant Jesus Christ becomes our high Priest seated at the right hand of the Father , through Jesus we all have access to God 24/7 Jesus gaves us the good example of prayer , he spent much time in prayer with his heavenly Father , many times all night . If Jesus saw the need to fast and  pray how much more we in our day . 

In Mark 13 : 33 Jesus said: Watch and pray The early church was a church of much prayer , in the Temple , by a riverside and in homes to fast and pray . We! the church today must continue to fast and pray . God desires for us, his people to spend time with him as he did with Adam. Here at HPHC we believe in prayer both for our own needs and the community at large.

Our schedule of prayer meetings are:

* Wed morning 10 am at the church

* Sun afternoons at 5:30 PM at the church

* At 12 noon - 1 pm Mon thru Sat on lunch hour where ever people may be , take time to call upon the Lord

* First friday of the month is a day of fasting and prayer seeking God for a Spiritual and Moral awakening across America and our county , at 7 pm we gather in 6 locations to call on the Lord for his mercies and grace Do plan on joining us for one are all of these great times of prayer , you'll be glad you did.
